Can we get coronavirus from sex?

COVID-19 is not a sexually transmitted infection, however, it can be passed on through kissing and close contact, including having sex.

There are following tips for safe sex in period of COVID-19:

1.If you don’t have symptoms, having sex with a partner you live with is OK.

2.You are your safest sex partner; masturbation is always safe sex.There are lots of ways to have sexual pleasure without physical contact– try having fun with lone masturbation, sex toys, and phone or webcam sex.

3.If you or a partner have COVID-19 symptoms, you should not kiss or have sex and please call your health care provider.

4.Use soap or alcohol wipes to clean the area where you have sexual activity.

5.Using condoms and dental dams will help protect you and your partners from STDs. Dental dams and condoms may also help prevent the spread of COVID-19 during oral sex by preventing contact with spit.

COVID-19 isn’t an STD. But you can get it if you have close physical contact with someone who has coronavirus . Please kindly keep social distancing — which means staying at home as much as possible, and staying at least 6 feet.
